I had a very short Christmas celebration this year. I had to work until 5 on Christmas Eve. My dad picked me up and we drove an hour back to Campbell, then had dinner with family at our house. Christmas day was spent cuddling with my kitty, opening presents, and relaxing, but then my parents drove me back up to San Francisco at night because I had to be back at work at 9:15 this morning.

First. The above, true story. This is a long post, so let me give you a brief summary before you start reading.
• First comes a silly quote.

PS: Someone asked me what all the quotes on my new banner mean, so I was all "Well, shucks! I'll tell you all! Instead of just Captain Inquisitive over there!"

tomorrow is my baby board practical...and i'm really excited.
baby board is a practice of state board, which is the exam cosmos/esthis/manis take to get their california state license (which actually just changed to a national license)
i only have 500 hours left of school. shit is going by CRAZY fast!
i'll be taking state board soon enough.
i might have to take a break from school though so that a.)i can take baby board again one more time before i graduate (just so i can be completely confident in my rediness) and b.)i can get my fingers touched up hahahahaha
i should be graduating february though, which is seven months earlier than was my proposed graduation date which is AWESOME.
i think when i pass baby board i'm gonna have a party. actually. i know i'll have one hahahaha.
OH!
if anyone wants * F R E E * facials, let me know because i need all the practice i can get. they are ONE HUNDRED PERCENT FREE. no catches, no nothing. all you have to do is come to my school or my house, and let me know in advance. you'll get more professional/better treatment at my school since we have the setup and good products for it, but at my house works too.

→ Item the 1th (it's been a long weekend, excuse my random). ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) hubwifeband!!!!! I got your card yesterday, it is lovely, and it makes me feel guilty because I fail at drawing right now (I hurt my hand), and it is completely fucked up. It's a star, but it looks like throw-up. Can you forgive me? y/n?
→ Item the two-th. So my brother, Robert, has been really excited for the whole of the day, because he thought up the brilliant (?) plan to give his Christmas gift to my other brother, Will, in a series of boxes. He's got a book, with two boxes around it. I thought this was a little mean, but Robert's a bit of a jerk so I let it slide. While I was in the midst of letting it slide, I was puttering around my room, and found a whole assortment of various sized boxes (I really AM a packrat). I now have a set of six boxes, one inside the other, waiting to go down the garage where there are even MORE boxes. In the smallest of boxes (a matchbox), is a piece of paper, telling Robert to go to the fridge... I'm planning on coming up with several more steps he's going to have to take to get to his present including going to a tinyurl that's probably going to be linked to a .jpg, telling him another step.
Revenge in the name of Will? Why yes. Indubitably.
→ Item another. I'm thinking of coming up with a new layout for the new year. It is going to be silly, and delightful (or the banner will be silly, as I am FAR too buzy/lazy to come up with whole new coding for a layout). And I'm thinking of changing my moodtheme to this one which is A Very Potter Musical themed.
→ ITEM THE Z'OHMYGOD WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?! All Harry Potter people who have not seen A Very Potter Musical must watch it now. That is an order! Do it! Do it fucking now!!! I mean, Malfoy is played BY A GIRL!!! IT'S INCREDIBLE!!! PIGFARTS PIGFARTS HERE I COME!!! Zomg done. (Ps: I downloaded the soundtrack because I love it so much. Now I'm done).
→ Item the countdown. Dood. 5 days until Christmas (four for all my people who are to the right of my timezone, and I've only got like 2 minutes left).

I don't know why but I just spent my day off making a list of my favorite albums by year.
My rules are...
- I can only pick from albums I own.
- I only picked one favorite per year (with up to 4 honorable mentions listed in no particular order)
- If I only have one album for that year - that's the one that's listed.
- For years that I don't have albums I listed my favorite song from that year.
My boyfriend called me a crazy person because I woke up at 5:30 am and started doing this. Oh wells.

→ First. I am home. I think I did horribly on my Latin Final, so I'm just wallowing here and ultimately wasting away.
→ Second. I SAW 30 SECONDS TO MARS IN CONCERT!!! (with divaboyindrag) It was so fucking epic, I think I may vomit, and I've been feeling this way since I saw them on Friday. They were really cool! I mean, they opened up with Carmina Burana (youtube link) and were so fucking amazing! Jared Leto kind of sounds like a Chipmunk in real life, but it was okay. And then, partway through their last song, the power went out on the stage. And we were all "Huh?" and then he was all "Because that happened, I think we should start from the beginning!" And he started the song over, and told everyone how to sing it! AND I FILMED THE WHOLE THING!!! I died from happy! literally died! It was such a good show, and the lighting and everything was brilliant. It was crazy. AFI and Muse were there too, but I don't really like those bands (and I HATE the lead singer of AFI's voice. EW EW EW), so it was a bit weird, and I left after 30StM. I wish I had a 30StM icon to use right now, but alas, I do not! Ah well.
→ Second and a half. Since I left early, my camera and iPod and jacket are with divaboy the theif! in her friend's car. I want them back, but have to wait until she returns from school. Blast it all. I want to see my 30StM photos! BLAST!!
→ Third. I are sick. What is this tomfoolery, God!? WHAT IS IT!? WHOSE RESPONSIBLE THIS!?!?!?
→ Fourth. The Romantic Comedy Meme. Gacked lovingly from asinnerofsorts. This was oodles of fun, let me tell you! I got kind of involved in it, so it took up the majority of my day (interspersed with me going about other day-to-day things, don't worry), rather than a few minutes.
